產品種類: DRAM module. Flash: Compatflash card, MMC, SD, USB disk. Storage: (SSD) solid state disk, NAS (network attachment storage)
主要客戶: EMC, CISCO, IBM, HP…
研發方向: 台灣 分公司專注在OEM/ Industrial SSD產品. 提供客戶高速度,高容量,及高可靠的Flash storage產品

應徵FW Design Engineer

REQUIREMENTS
MSEE/CS or equivalent experience required
Knowledge of the following protocols: ATA, SATA, SCSI, Fibre Channel, PATA, SAS.
Experience with NAND EEPROM (Flash) a plus
Knowledge of bench testing and software Design Verification & Test techniques
Development experience using a Windows and Linux environment
Experience in using bug tracking and source code control tools
2 years working storage experience
An ability to get "hands-on" in product bring-up and support new product development
 
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once
Must be detail oriented with good organization and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Ability to plan and execute work independently
Strong problem solving skills

工作內容 :

作固態硬碟SSD上firmware，主要客戶是server side 有別於群聯電子
了解flash特性, study 相關介面 spec, 要出差
演算法...如何有效率的對flash作讀寫? 
因應flash有一定寫入的壽命，還要做Error Recover的處理
興趣缺缺...如果要做這個, 我去群聯電子就好了呀~ 囧 
 
第二關要和美國主管做英文面談.. 沒有複試的打算...因為我討厭"阿狗"(algo)
